Meeting of December 2, 2013
Minutes of the meeting of: The meeting took place at 3:00 at 4 Fairgrounds Road,
Nantucket, MA 02554.
Members Present:, Mary Wawro, Augie Ramos, and John Belash
Members Absent: Holly McGowan, Linda Williams, Christy Kickham
Staff Present: Pam Meriam, Ann Medina
Members of the Public: none
I. Called to Order: meeting called to order at 3:10
II. Quorum: a quorum was not established
III. Approval of Agenda: the agenda was unanimously approved
IV. Public Comment: none
V. Action and Discussion: Set up mutual times to meet with human services agencies.
Mary mentioned that she would be leaving the island on Thursday afternoon December
12th, John mentioned that he would be leaving the island on February 2, 2014 .
The key thing is the interviews, deliberations and recommendations. There are twelve
agencies requesting funds for FY15. There will be 3 meetings with 4 agencies scheduled for
each session; each agency will have 20 minutes to present. This can be done in one week,
the meetings will be scheduled for Tuesday December 10th, Wednesday December 11th,
and Thursday December 12th. The deliberations will be scheduled at a later date.
When will the finance committee have the CRC on their agenda? January 21st is the date
for CRC meeting with the finance committee. The CRC report will be given to the BOS and
FinCom at the same time and when it will be discussed the CRC members will show up.
The meeting adjourned at 3:45. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday December 10,
2013 at 2:00 to be held at 4 Fairgrounds Rd. 2nd floor training room.
