3.PUBLIC COMMENT
a.Tracy recuses herselfShe is concerned about poisoning crows at great
point, heard someone's chicken ate a poisoned crow and died. Tracy is finding out who is
doing it.
4.OFFICIAL BUSINESS
a.Welcome new members!
b.Overview of procedures John outlines both sets of rules (for large and
small groups) from Roberts Rules of Order and suggests we switch between them
depending on the topic Campbell motions to make a choice at the next meeting
unanimous
c.Developing a master list of ag peopleeveryone on the committee finds 5
and brings to the next meeting, John gets sn list, then we brainstorm who is missing.
John motions to pursue a list of current farmers on nantucket for public outreach.
d.Facebook page for Ag comtalk to joe, calendar possibility to broadcast
relevant info
e.Booklet on backyard chickensgood idea, tracy find out about farm
bureau and we can use theirs if we join
f.Money campbell motions to fund the chicken booklet and further
literature to promote ag in community john suggests that we submit request for funds to
bos other ideas are to Raffle chicken coop
g.Discuss filling seat 7
