1. This is a Petition for a variance to permit
the installation of another rental apartment in a build-
ing on King Street in Siasconset. The premises are
zoned Residential I and now contain one dwelling house,
one rental apartment, and one miscellaneous huilding whic~
the Petitioner seeks to convert to co~mercial income-
providin0 property.
2. This property was ~urchased Pay 1, 1979.
Althouah the property wight be enhanced by the creation
of an additional apartment on the pre~ises, it would be
in conf 1 ict ~'li th the zonina ':>,,-la'" which per!'1i ts only one
residence and one secondary dwelling on the lot. ~he
addition of a kitchen would, in effect, constitute t~ree
chlellina uni ts on t'le proDcrty. 'J'hp residcntiaJ craracter

3. The Petition for a variance to permit an addi-

NOTICE
A Public Hearing will be held August 24, 1979,
at 3:00 P.M. at the TOWN AND COUNTY BUILDING, BROAD and
FEDERAL STREETS, NANTUCKET, MASS. on the Petition of
~~RY JANE LEVY to be granted relief from SEC. IV of
the zoning by-law, USE REGULATION. If granted, the
Special Permit will allow the Petitioner to convert
storage space into income producing property. The said
premises are zoned RESIDENTIAL I and located on King St.,
Siasconset.
