A Public Hearing of the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS will be held
at 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 4, 1994, in the Selectmen's
Meeting Room, in the Town and County Building, Broad Street,
Nantucket, Massachusetts, on the Application of:
CARL FELTZ, JR. AND ALICE S. FELTZ

Applicants are seeking SPECIAL PERMIT relief under Nantucket
Zoning By -Law §139 -33A for the alteration of said to be pre-
existing nonconforming building lots by modification of their lot
areas, resulting in one building lot consisting of the land shown
on Assessor's Map 92.4 as Parcels 237, 238 and 243 having 26,532±
square feet of area, and one building lot consisting of the land
shown on Assessor's Map 92.4 as Parcels 239, 240, 241 and 242
having 26,268± square feet of area. Applicants are the owners of
a parcel of land shown on Assessor's Map 92.4 Parcel 238,
consisting of approximately 7500 square feet, and desire to
purchase the adjacent land shown on Assessor's Map 92.4 as
Parcels 237, 239, 240, 241 242 and 243, consisting of 45,300±
square feet.
In the alternative, Applicants seek relief by VARIANCE under
Nantucket Zoning By -Law §139 -16A to allow the reconfiguration of
the lots and to validate the new lots as seperately marketable
and buildable.
The premises is located at 6 HAMPSHIRE ROAD, Assessor's Map
92.4, Parcel 238. The property is zoned Limited Use General -III.

Addendum
Applicants are the owners of a parcel of land shown on Assessor's
Map 92.4 Parcel 238, consisting of approximately 7500 square
feet, and desire to purchase the adjacent land shown on
Assessor's Map 92.4 as Parcels 237, 239, 240, 241, 242 and 243,
consisting of approximately 45,300 square feet. Each of the
existing parcels have been held in separate ownership since a
time prior to zoning, and therefore, constitute separate building
lots. Application is made under By -Law Section 139 -33.A. for the
alteration of the pre- existing nonconforming building lots by
modification of their lot areas, resulting in one building lot
consisting of the land shown on Assessor's Map 92.4 as Parcels
237, 238 and 243 having about 26,532 square feet of area, and one
building lot consisting of the land shown on Assessor's Map 92.4
as Parcels 239, 240, 241 and 242 having about 26,268 square feet
of area. In the alternative, a variance is requested from
frontage and lot area requirements for the same purpose.
