NOTICE
A Public Hearing of the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS will be held
at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 14, 1994, the Selectmen's Meeting
Room, in the Town and County Building, Broad Street, Nantucket,
Massachusetts, on the Application of:
JOHN D. SAYER
Board of Appeals File No. 066 -94
Applicant is seeking relief by SPECIAL PERMIT under
Nantucket Zoning By -Law §139 -33A to alter a garage which is said
to be pre- existing and nonconforming. The garage is currently
sited within the required five (5) foot rear and side yard
setbacks having a westerly side yard setback of 2.8± feet at its
closest point and a rear yard setback of 1.6± feet at its closest
point. Applicant proposes to alter and substantially renovate
the garage on the same footprint by adding a secondary dwelling
unit, a second floor garage apartment.
The premises is located at 10 GARDNER STREET, Assessor's map
42.3.3, parcel 13, as shown in Registry Plan Book 41, Page 24,
and Registry Plan Book 13, Page 36. The property is zoned
Residential -1.
