Permit was issued 'n March of 2005.
Since that time, applicant has a lifelong disability handicap which, with age, has resulted `n mobility
getting increasingly more difficult and around the clock assistance and care becoming a necessity. The
enclosure of the breezeway with windows and doors significantly prevents weather from affecting the
breezeway area, enabling applicant to utilize the space more effectively. Applicant recently secured
HDC COA # 62806 approving the as built windows and door changes enclosing the breezeway. Applicant
is now requesting the proposed variance to accommodate the enclosure of the breezeway, now
changing the applicable square footage that counts towards the available ground coverage on the
parcel. If said proposed variance is granted, applicant hopes to ask for tertiary dwelling status of this
structure so as to accommodate living quarters for a full time aide with applicant's increasing needs
resulting from the disability handicap.
