A Public Hearing of the BOARD OF APPEALS will be held on
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1990 at 1:00 P.M. in the TOWN AND COUNTY
BUILDING, Federal and Broad Streets, Nantucket, on the

Applicants seek a SPECIAL PERMIT under SECTION 139 -33A of the
Zoning By -Law to alter or extend a pre- existing non - conforming
use. Applicants wish to alter and expand their condominium unit
which is one of three units located on the lot by adding 77 SF ref
ground cover to the existing structure. The unit will not be _n
violation of ground cover requirements with the increase in
ground cover.
The premises are located at 31 WALSH STREET, Assessor's Map 29,
Parcel 111, as shown in Plan Book 21, Page 18, Unit 3, and afe
zoned RESIDENTIAL -1.

ADDENDUM
The applicants are seeking a Special Permit pursuant to
Section
��ff 139 -33A of the Zoning Code of the Town of Nantucket to
alter;theiominium unit which is one of three units located
on the Lot and is a pre- existing, non - conforming use of the Lot
is a Residential -1 Zone. All pertinent zoning information is
set forth on Exhibit A.
The applicants propose to add 77 square feet of ground cover
to their unit as shown on the floor plans and elevations
attached as Exhibits B and C respectively. Even with these
additions, the unit will conform with allowable ground cover as
set forth in the ground cover calculation sheet attached as
Exhibit D.
The applicant feels given the small amount of ground cover
being added to their unit that this alteration will not be
substantially more detrimental than the already existing use to
the neighborhood.

RE: Dr. and Mrs. Richard H. Warburton
Dear Chairman Leichter:
On behalf of my clients, Dr. and Mrs. Richard H. Warburton,
enclosed herewith for filing are an application for Special
Permit relief to add ground cover to a pre- existing,
non - conforming condominium unit, supporting plans, abutters
list, mailing labels and a filing fee check in the sum of
$200.00 made payable to "Town of Nantucket" to cover the filing
fee. Because the prior Warburton application was withdrawn
without prejudice, I hereby respectfully request that the
Nantucket Board of Appeals waive the filing fee of $200.00 for
this new application.
Please mark this matter for hearing at the next available
date and call me if you have any questions or concerns.
