A Public Hearing of the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS will be
held on FRIDAY, AUGUST 17, 1990 at 1:00 P.M. in the Town and
County Building, Federal and Broad Streets, Nantucket, on the

Seeking a Special Permit under Section 139 -16C to reduce the rear
lot line setback from ten (10) feet to five (5) feet to allow
Applicants to add a small porch onto a proposed dwelling, which
has HDC approval but is not yet under construction.

We, Jeffrey W. & Susan A. Lee, as contract purchasers, are applying
for a Special Permit (Nantucket Zoning By -Law Sec. 139 -30A) to reduce
our rear line setback from 10 to 5 feet in an R2 zone. This change
would allow us to add a small porch which establishes a single story
eave line along the front of the house which serves to reduce its
scale. The relief sought is adressed in Section 139 -16C.
