A Public Hearing of the BOARD OF APPEALS will be held
on FRIDAY, APRIL 29, 1988 at 1:30 p.m. in the TOWN AND COUNTY
BUILDING, FEDERAL AND BROAD STREETS, NANTUCKET, on the Appli-
cation of BRUCE H. POOR FOR HIMSELF AS PURCHASER UNDER AGREE-
MENT and the ESTATE OF MARY A. BELYEA, OWNER, as from June
9, 1880, (047 -88) seeking a VARIANCE from the 35 -foot front -
yard setback requirement of SECTION 139 -16C to allow con-
struction of a new single- family dwelling and accessory
buildings, not less than 10 feet from the Mattapoisett Ave-
nue street line. The premises comprise an 8300 SF unimproved
corner lot (with 80,000 SF now required), said to be a lot
of record pre- dating mid -1972 zoning, at the intersection
of MATTAPOISETT AND WESTERWYCK WAY (AKA OCEAN AVENUE),
formerly 1 Heller Way, Assessor's Parcels 82 -368 and 370,
Proprietor's Book 1, Page 95, Lots 75 and 74, zoned LIMITED
USE GENERAL -2.
