Meeting called to order at 5:45 p.m. following an Open Session meeting for1he purpose
of.
a. Review ES minutes of 3/1/12, 3/13/12, 3/27/12, 4/3/12, 4/19/12, 4/26/l2, 5/8/11,
522/12 and 6/12112 for possible release.
b. To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation, which if
held in open session may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigation

Dolan: Updated the Commission concerning former employees Bruce King & Pam Bell.
Bruce King is seeking to claim a union position based on seniority, which will
likely result in bumping another employee. He will likely seek a grievance
hearing. We are waiting to hear back.

Dolan heard back from Pam Bell via her attorney Rhoda Weinman with an offer
of $25k to settle; or she will file a claim with MCAD.
Drake: FinCom has approved a Reserve Fund transfer up to $40k to settle employment
claims.
Egan: Motion to offer $25k lump sum payment subject to Bell providing a release of all
and any claims against the Town.
