ADDENDUM
Applicant is seeking a Special Permit under Nantucket Zoning By -Law (pre - existing,
non - conforming use to front yard setback) to permit a 120sf ((9'x131 storage shed
to be placed within the front yard setback. The proposed shed will not come any
closer to the front yard lot line than the existing structure. In addition, the impact of
the front yard setback intrusion is mitigated by extensive landscaping and the fact
that the lot is elevated thus further obscuring the view from the road.
A Certificate of Appropriateness ( #58403) for the proposed shed was approved by
the HDC on August 28th, 2012.
