Upon review of the building department file of the above - referenced property, it was determined by the Zoning Administrator that pursuant to Nantucket Zoning Bylaw Section 139- 33.A.(3)(a), the proposed alteration and expansion of the preexisting nonconforming structure will not increase the nonconforming nature of said structure. 2. The Applicant is proposing to construct a new deck to the rear of the property and a shed to the easterly side of the property. Said rear addition will be entirely outside the proposed setbacks and the shed to the easterly side of the structure will be further from the side yard setback than the preexisting nonconforming structure. 3. Therefore, because the construction of the deck to the rear of the property will be entirely outside the setbacks and the proposed shed will be further from the side yard setback than the preexisting nonconforming structure, it was determined that such an expansion as shown on the site plan entitled, "Mortgage Inspection Plan in Nantucket, Massachusetts," prepared by Nantucket Surveyors, LLC, dated May 11, 1998, as modified, attached hereto as "Exhibit A ", will not increase the nonconforming nature of the structure.
