MINUTES —NOVEMBER 28, 2007
NANTUCKET SUPERIOR COURTROOM
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Willauer, Ms. Roggeveen, Mr. Kopko, and Mr.
Reinhard.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Chadwick.
Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.
AGENDA
1. Any comments /concerns from the public. None noted.
2. Unanimous approval of minutes of September 26, 2007 and October 17, 2007.
3. Public Hearing regarding amendment of Regulations 53.00 and 68.00 — HO Ray
recommends adding an additional amount of time to the initial timeframe for
inspections in both harbor watershed protection districts due to the amount of
systems which still need inspections and the shortage of inspectors. To date of
the 602 Nantucket Harbor Watershed Inspections, 254 have been inspected; 239
have passed; and 15 have failed. Of the 447 Madaket Harbor Watershed
Inspections, 74 have been inspected; 50 have passed; and 24 have failed.
HO Ray is asking the BOH to give the Nantucket Harbor Watershed Protection
District an additional one year extension, and the Madaket Harbor Watershed
Protection District an additional two year extension period for inspections.

BOH unanimously approves extensions for both harbor watershed districts.
4. Mr. Kopko comments on citizen articles regarding adding parcels to the sewer
district and mentions that a criteria checklist worksheet should be available at the
DPW and the Planning Board.
