MINUTES — JANUARY 24, 2007

MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Willauer, Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Kopko, Ms. Flanagan -
Stover, and Mr. Bennett
MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Concerns from the public. None noted.
AGENDA
I. Unanimous approval of Minutes of October 11, 2006.

II. Variance request at 16 Western Ave. — replacement of failed septic system for
existing dwelling. Septic system is located in the bluff. HO Ray recommends
approval of variance request. BOH approves variance request unanimously.
III. Harbor Watershed Inspections Update — The Health Department is starting to
see increases in both harbor watershed areas in terms of inspections being
done.
IV. The Town has received draft report from DEP of the Estuaries Project and
DEP has asked for the Town's input.
V. HO Ray reminds public of tick awareness during this mild winter. Check
your kids, yourselves and your pets continually.
VI. Mosquito awareness — due to a mild winter we should be vigilant about
checking our properties continually for standing water.
VII. On -going human habitation issues being dealt with in the Health Department.
HO Ray is looking into doing a piece on Plum TV informing public of Long -
Term Rental Regulations.
VIII. No documented flu cases yet on Nantucket, but many respiratory illnesses
reported.
