MINUTES — JULY 26, 2006
NANTUCKET SUPERIOR COURTROOM

and Mr. Bennett

The meeting is called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Minutes from May 24, 2006 approved unanimously. l
Variance Requests
The Shack — 63 Surfside Rd. HO Ray states that the Shack does not meet current
health codes. There is no bathroom for employees. HO Ray recommends denial
of variance request by owner who wants to use the bathroom in the house next
door. The owner is not able to get a porta potty with hot and cold running water
for this season.
BOH denies variance request 4 to 1.
2. Carlisle House — HO Ray states that this guest house opened without benefit of
their permits. The fine for operating without a permit is four times the permit fee.
HO Ray recommends denying waiving the penalty fee.
BOH denies the penalty fee waiver request unanimously.
3. Wade Cottages — HO Ray states that this guest house opened without benefit of
their permits. The fine for operating without a permit is four times the permit
fee. The fine for operating without a permit is four times the permit fee. HO Ray
recommends denying waiving the penalty fee.
BOH denies the penalty waiver fee waiver request unanimously.
