BOH Minutes of March 22, 2006 approved unanimously. Z_
Variance Request
1. 57 Pocomo Road — A request for relief from the inspection protocols of Local
Regulation 68.00 for this property. The homeowner had previously inspected his system
in the early stages of notification, and subsequently when the dates were changed by the
Board, his inspection was no longer valid.
HO Ray recommends granting variance.
BOH grants variance unanimously.
Public Hearing - announcement
HO Ray announces a public hearing to be held on June 14, 2006 at the Superior
Courtroom to accept testimony and/or act upon proposed regulations and amendments to
existing regulations addressing septic system inspection requirements within both the
Town of Nantucket and the Madaket Harbor Watershed Protection Districts.
Health Department Updates
HO Ray updates BOH on Avian Flu and other zoonotic diseases. Red Cross training for
Emergency Preparedness will be available to volunteers from the community in the
ensuing months. Dates and locations for this training will be announced at a later date.
