HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-3-22BOARD OF HEALTH TOWN OF NANTUCKET MINUTES - MARCH 22, 2006 NANTUCKET SUPERIOR COURTROOM MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Glowacki, Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Watts, Mr. Willauer, and Mr. Bennett MEMBERS ABSENT: None. Meeting called to order at 9:35 p.m. Chairman Glowacki asks for public comment/concems. None noted. AGENDA Minutes of February 8, 2006 approved unanimously. Variance Request 1. 11 Columbus Ave. - This is a single - family dwelling with a failed septic system., ft will be replaced with an alternative design, phosphorous reducing system. HO Ray '-0 recommends approval with the stipulation that a signed maintenance agreement be irr-, place for the life of the system. BOH approves the variance request unanimously with the stipulation. 2. 125 Wauwinet Rd. — this is a single - family dwelling with a failed septic system to be replaced with an alternative - design system. HO Ray recommends approval of the variance with a signed, maintenance agreement in place for the life of the system. BOH approves the variance request unanimously with the stipulation. HO Ray announces the continuation of the public meeting to discuss the septic system inspection protocols to be held on March 27th at 5:30 p.m. at the LGI at Nantucket High School. HO Ray has invited the DEP Estuaries Program to Nantucket to present their findings on the Nantucket and Madaket Harbors to be held tentatively on May 18th. The location and exact time of this presentation will be determined in the near future. Meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m.
