AGENDA
Minutes of September 14, September 15 and October 12, 2005 approved unanimously.
Variance Requests
1. 16 Tennessee Ave. — this is a resubmittal of a variance originally denied due to an
additional structure on the property which contained a bathroom. Plumbing
permits were obtained to remove the bathroom thus returning the structure to a
non - bedroom status. HO Ray recommends approval of the variance with the
stipulation on verification of the bathroom removal and having a signed
maintenance contract in place and maintained for the life of the septic system.
Variance request approved unanimously.
2. 4 Pond Rd. — This is a small lot with an existing structure in need of a septic
repair of the leach facility. HO Ray recommends approval for replacing the leach
pit with a leach pit due to lot size constraints.
Variance request approved unanimously.
Update on Harbor Watershed Inspections
HO Ray gives a brief update of inspections done since 1111105 —171 systems
have been inspected and 371 systems have not yet been inspected. HO Ray also notes
that a letter to be sent out to all within the district is currently being reviewed at town
counsel. The letter spells out the time frame required for the inspections and the penalties
associated with failure to get a property inspected.
