Executive Session Minutes
October 12,2010
Location: Nantucket Memorial Airport's SRE Building, 13 New South Road, Nantucket
Executive Session was called to order at 5:58 p.m. by Chairman E. Foley Vaughan with the following
Commissioners present: Vice Chair Sheila O'Brien Egan, Dual A Macintyre, Jr., Robert Atlee and Carl D.
England, Jr.
Also present: Airport Manager Alfred G. Peterson
The Commission discussed the request of Manager AI Peterson for a three year contract.
The Commissioners recognized the importance to the airport of the strengths that Manager Peterson brings
to the job and commented favorably on the w()rk he has done to get the new terminal up and running (on
time and within budget), the ARFF building and his skills in obtaining grant monies for various airport
projects.
Current union negotiations were mentioned.
The possibility of deferred compensation was discussed.
No decision was reached. The Commission wants more information about the salaries of other department
heads and Sheila Egan was tapped to assemble that information.
Meeting adjourned 6:23 p.m.
