L This is an application far e.xtension of a non-:onforminq use
by construction of an addition to an ex; st irB roil ling lcx::a+-p..D. on
Atlantic Street in Siasconset in an area zoned I1..G-3. '.The J\upli-
cant proposes to connect two $\all J:uildings, resultin} in one
residential unit which will excee:1 the allowable groom. cover in
, this distr ict.
2. The Board firrls that these lots on Atlantic Street in Siascon-
set are approximately 10,000 sa. feet lots in an area which has
been zoned for 120,000 sa. feet ani 3% graurl CCNer. Therefcre,
the existence of these srra 11 buildin:; lots in the UX; area imposes
a difficulty by drastically limiting the granrl cover on these
lots. The Board firrls that the proposed relief may be granta1 as
an extension of the pre-existing non-confarmin} use because the
construction \<ITi11 be less detrimental than the E~isting non-conform-
ing use to the neighborhcx:xJ. It will not result in any increase 1n
traff lC, health, or safety, arrl may be gra'1ta:1 without detriment
to any property in the neighl:orhocrl.

A Public Hearing of the BOARD OF APPEALS will be held
on FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 1982, at 3:00 P.M., in the TOWN
and COUNTY BUILDING, FEDERAL and BROAD STREETS,
NANTUCKFT, on the application of DONALD P. McROBIE,
seeking a Special Permit for relief from SECTION 5.1,
GROUND COVER RATIO, of the Zoning By-Law. If granted
the Petitioner will be allowed to extend a pre-existing
