BOARD OF APPEALS which has this day been filed with
the Town Clerk.
Any appeals from this action shall be made pursuant
to Section 17 of Chapter 40A of the General Laws,
and shall be filed within twenty (20) days after

At a meeting of the BOARD a~ APPFAlS held Friday, April 30, 1982,
at the Town arrl Camty Bui.lding, in the matter of the application
of the 'Nf'.N'IUCKET HISTORICAL AS~IATICN (011-82), after due delib-
eration, the Board from:
1. This is an application to ~q:arrl the non-conformin:r use of the
l-Vhaling Museum am a waiver of the parkin;)' reauirements in order to
construct a retail sales shop on prcperty at the corner of Broad
and Beach Streets in an area zoned RESIDENTIAL/ro~CIAL. The
existiIB lot has been vacant arrl tile crldition win permit the re-
moval of the gift shop fran the Whaling Museum to the propose:1
addition.
2. The Board finds t."bis propp..rty to he locatcrl in a thorcugh1v
develop_:d carmercial district; the principal traffk is by f(X)t ard

COUNTY BUILDING, FEDERAL and BROAD STREETS, NANTUCKET,
on the application of the NANT.UCKET HISTORICAL ASSOCIA-
TION, seeking relief from SECTION 5.1, GROmm COVER
RATIO, and SECTION 6B, PARKING REQUIREMENTS, of the
