BOARD'S DECISION P.pplication submitted to Board P, dvertising dates Hearing date Iecision of Board _.__ Decision filed with the Town Clerk In the matter of the petition of Island Hotels Company re premises at Easton St., Nantucket, rte. The locus consists of a multi-residential structure with 12 residential (rental) units. There is presently no on site parking. The owner proposes to raze the existing unit and replace the same with two structures housing 11 rental units. The structures will be similar in design to the Harbor House complex except one unit will be a single story cottage structure. Relief is sought for the side line set off to allow the placing of a deck on the westerly lot line. The deck will provide access to a second floor area. Relief is sought for parking requirements. There is presently no on-site parking to service the existing 12 rooms. The oHmer pro- poses to place 6 car parking spaces on site rather than 11 spaces as required were this a new facility. Relief is sought to operate this facility as an annex of the White Elephant. It is presently used as such but was purchased as a privately held rental unit. There is no change of use but there is a change of association because of the ownership of adjacent property.
