DECISION:
At a regular meeting of the BOARD OF APPEALS
held Friday, April 10, 1981., at 3:00 p.m, in the Town
and County Building, in the matter of the application of
PHILIP T. COFFIN (007-81), after due deliberation, the
Board found:
1. This is a request for a Special Permit to
permit the construction of a storage shed and deck on a
dwelling at 35 Walsh Street. This is part of a
condominium unit wherein any additional construction
requires the assent of the condom~,nium manager, which
had been obtained. The additional construction will not
exceed the allowable ground cover.
2. The Board finds no violation of the Zoning
By-Law and no variance necessary. There is no substan-
tial extension of a non-conforming use, and the proposed
construction is favored as a matter of public policy.
3. For the reasons set forth, the Board rules
the Building Permit should be issued by the Building
Inspector in accordance with the plans submitted, by
unanimous vote.

AND COUNTY BUILDING, FEDERP.L AND BROAD STREETS, on the
Petition of PHILIP T. COFFIN, JR., seeking relief from
the provisions of SECTION 5 of the By-Law, GROUND COVERAGE
RATIO, to permit the construction of additional storage
and porch space for personal use. The property is located
at 35 Walsh Street and is zoned RESIDEN'Z'IA.L 1.
