A Public Hearing of the Nantucket Zoning Board of Appeals will be held at 1:00 P.NL,
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2000, in the Conference Room, Town Annex Budding, 37 Washington
Street, Nantucket, Massachusetts, on the Application of the following:

Applicant is seeking relief by SPECIAL PERMIT under Nantucket Zoning Bylaw Section 139-
18B(1) (off-site parking). Applicant is owner of the land shown as Lots 1 and 2 upon Plan F>7e 55=N,
currently having a street address of 18 Milk Street, and being shown upon Assessor's Neap No. 42.3.3 as
Parce134. There presently exists upon Lot 1 a driveway and parking area which is accessed from New
Mill Street and services the single-family dwelling upon Lot 2. Applicant proposes to convey Lot 2, and
to grant to the new owner of Lot 2 an exchisive use easement to utilize the parking area upon Lot 1.
Although it is physically poss~le to create new parking upon Lot 2, such reconfiguration of parking
would result in the destruction of several large, mature trees upon Lot 2, and would create another
driveway entering into the aheady heavily traveled Nnlc Street. Accordingly, Applicant requests said
Special Permit to allow the use of a parking space off-site to meet the parking requirements for Lot 2 by
easement.
The Premises is located at 18 MII..K STREET, Assessor's Map 42.3.3, Parce134, Lots 1 and 2,
Plan File 55-N. The property is zoned Residential Old-I~istoric.

(18 Milk Street Realty Trust - Special Permit application)
Applicant is owner of the land shown as Lots 1 and 2 upon Plan
File 55-N, currently having a street address of 18 Milk Street,
and being shown upon Assessor's Map No. 42.3.3 as Parcel 34.
There presently exists upon Lot 1 a driveway and parking area
which is accessed from New Mill Street and services the single-
family dwelling upon Lot 2. Applicant proposes to convey Lot 2,
