1. This is an awlication fer a Special Penni t to exterrl a non-
conforming use urrler Section 7-H-l of the By-Law to pemlt the
construction of a garage on pr:'q>erty on Weeweeder ~venue in surf-
side. The awlicant aCX1Uired this property in 1978, when it c0n-
tained 12,500 square feet of larxl. The district is zoned
Residential-2, all()l.,j~ 12.5% grourd cover, and the In1se covers
720 square feet, the prcposed qarage to be 484 square feet. 'Ire
garage would be a separate unit caning within 5 feet of the rear
lot line.

square feet lots, thus being a:iversely inpict:ed by the groun:l CCNer
restrictions of the By-law. The neighborhood in generC\l is !
sparcely populated am the recruested relief will. not adversely ,

in several decisions, this Board has favcred the calstruction of
garages for security, confort, curl oonvenienoe in these outlying
