At a meeting of the Emergency Finance Board of the Commonwealth, held on the lath
day of May, 1979, a majority of said Board being present, the fo110~ing vote vas
passed:
VOTED: To approve for the TO\~~ OF NANTUCKET the project for the Acquisition of Land
Adjacent to the Nantucket Hemorial Airport (approach area to instrument runFay 24),
as shm,m by the application of said TOv:TI, and the approval of the Nassachusetts
Aeronautics Commission on file, at an estimated cost of T\;O HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
($200,000.00); also to approve the Offer and Acceptance by said TO\:Tl of a Grant from
the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration in the amount of ON~
HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSM~D DOLLARS ($160,000.00); and the Contribution of not less than
THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000.00) from the Commom.'ealth of Nassachusetts; and to
approve the use of the sum of TEN TIfCUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00) transferred from the
Excess and Deficiency Fund as voted by the Annual T6\:TI Meeting held on April 3rd,
1979 under Article 57.
The approval ~f this project is in accordance \iith the provisions of Chapter 74
of the Acts\ of 1945, as amended.
It is FURTHER VOTED, in the event such a finding is required by General La\:s, ,
Chapter 30, Sections 61-62, that upon reviev! of the environmental assessment form
submi tted, the Boardhas concluded that thi s approval ~,'il1 not have envi ronmentel
impact, all feasible measures having been taken to avoid or minimize said impact.

At a meeting of the Emergency Finance Board of the Comnonwealth, held on the 8th
day of September, 1977. a majority of said Board being present, the following vote
was unanimously passed, under the suspension of rule$:
VOTED: To approve for the TOWN OF NANTUCKET the pr.oject the Construction of a Taxi-
way to Runway Thirty Three (33) at the Nantucket Memorial Airport, as sho~~ by the
application of said Town, and the approval of the Massachusetts Aeronautics Com-
mission on file, at an estimated cost of SIX HUNDRED SIXTY FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS
-' ($664,000.00); also to approve the Offer to and Acceptance by said Town of a Grant
from the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration in the amount of
FIVE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED DOLI~RS ($597,600.00); and the Con-
tribution of not less than THIRTY THREE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($33,200.00)
from the Commonwealth of Massaehusetts; and to approve the use of THIRTY THREE
THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($33,200.00) voted under Article 73 of the 1976
Annual Town Meeting and Article 100 of the 1977 Annual Town Meeting..
The approval of this project is in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 74
of the Acts of 1945, as amended.
It is FURTHER AMENDED, in the event such a finding. is required by General Laws,
Chapter 30, Sections 61-62, that~ upon review of the environmental assessment
form submitted, the Board has' concluded that this approval will not have environ-
mental'impact, all feasible measures having been taken to avoid or minimize S8.'Ile.

At a meeting of the Emergency Finance Board of the Commonwealth, held on the 12th
day of October, 1978, a majority of said Board being present, the following vote
was passed:
VOTED: To approve for the TOWN OF NANTUCKET the project for the Rehabilitation and
Construction of the Terminal Apron, including Security Fencing and Lightinr at the
Nantucket Municipal Airport, as shown by the application of said Town, and the
~PPrQval of the Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission on file, at an estimated cost
of ONE ~fILLION, ONE HUNDRED FORTY TWO THOUSAND,' SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTEEN DOLURS
($1,142,716.00); also to approve the Offer to and Acceptance by said Town of ~
Grant from the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration in the
amo:'nt of NINE HUNDRED NINETY THOUSAND, SEVENTY DOLLARS ($990,070.00); and the
Contribution of not less than NINETY FIVE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED SIX DOLUP$
<$95,506.00) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and to approve the use of
FIFTY SEVEN THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($57,140.00) authorized by Votes
of the 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1978 Annual Town Meetings; and the borrowing of
FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000.00) in accordance with the provisions of
Chapter 44, Section 8, Clause (3) of the General Laws, as amendeQ, for a period
not exceeding Ten (10) Years.
Any amount to be borrowed under the provisions of this vote shall be reduced by
any Federal and/or State Grants received as a contribution towards the cost of
said project.
Authorization for said project is in accordance with the provisions of Chapteri4
of the Acts of 1945, as amended.
It is FURTHER VOTED, in the event such a finding is required by General Laws, ~~~p-
ter 30, Sections 61-62, that upon review of the Environmental Assessment Form sub-
mitted, the Board has concluded that this approval will not have Environmental. 1::1-

At a meeting of the Emergency Finance Board of the Commonwealth, held on the
8th day of April, 1981, a majority of said Board present, the folloWing vote
was passed:
VOTED: To approve the application of the TOWN OF NANTUCKET for
the construction of a new nursing home knotm as "Our Island Home",
being Project No. HFC-25-0002; and to approve the acceptance by
said Town of a Federal Grant from the Department of Health, Edu-
cation and vlelfare, l'ublic Health Service in the amount of ONE
HILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000.00); and to approve the borrowing
of ONE BILLION, FOUR HUNDRED FORTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,445,000.00)
of the ONE HILLION, SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,600,000.00) voted
at the Special Town Heeting on April 4, 1978, under Article 2, in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 44, Section 7, Clause (3)
for a term not to exceed Twenty (20) Years.
Authorization for the above project is in accordance with the
provisions of Chapter 74 of the Acts of 1945, as amended.
It i~ FURTHER VOTED, in the event such a finding is required by
General Laws, Chapter 30, Sections 61-62, that upon review of the
Environmental Assessment Form submitted, the Board has concluded
that this approval ~li11 not have environmental impact, all feasible
~easures having been taken to avoid or minimize said impact.

present, the following vote was passed:
VOTED: To approve for the TOl-IN OF NANTUCKET the project ot Re-
construction of Jiunways 15/33 and 6/24 at the Nantucket MeI!lorial'Airport,
as show by the application of said Town, and the approval of the Massa-
chusetts Aeronautics Commission on file, at an estimated cost of NINE
HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($950,000.00); also to approve the Offer
to and Acceptance by said TOWN OF NANTUCKET of a Grant from the United
States of America Federal Aviation Adminttration in the amount of SEVEN
HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($712,500.00); and the Con-
tribution of not less than ONE HUNDRED NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($190',000,00)
from the Co~~onwealth of Massachusetts; and to approve the use of THIRTY
EIGHT THOUSAND DOLh~ ($38,000.00) raised by Taxation; the use of TWENTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00) from the E & D Account; the Transfer of FOUR
