BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
Minutes of the Meeting of 26 June 1991 at 7:30 PM. The meeting took
place in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Building, Nantucket,
MA 02554. Members of the Board present were: Chairman Diane Coombs,
Bernard Grossman, Nancy Sevrens, Carl Borchert and Wayne Holmes.
Chairman Coombs called the meeting to order at 9:00 PM, following
a meeting of the County Commissioners and the Board of Health.
Request From D. P. W. Superintendent to Delav Implementation of
Commercial Landfill stickers. Mrs. Sevrens read a memo from D.P.W.
Superintendent Jeff Willett requesting that the implementation of
the commercial landfill stickers be delayed until the Board reviews
his recommendations for more equitable landfill user fees, which
he will be providing in August. Mr. Grossman moved to delay
implementation as requested; seconded by Mr. Holmes. So voted.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
unanimously adjourned at 9:03 PM.
