BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
The Minutes of the Meeting of Wednesday January 31, 1990 at 7:30
PM. The meeting was held in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town
and County Building, Nantucket, MA 02554. All members of the
Board were present. Chairman Sevrens called the meeting to order
at 7:35 PM.
Approval of the Minutes of January 10, 1990 at 7:30 PM. Mr. Viera
moved approval; seconded by Mr. Grossman. So voted. Reading of
the Minutes was waived.
Public Hearing to Consider the Adontion of Specifications for
Sanitary Sewers in Nantucket. At DPW superintendent's Willett's
request, Mr. Grossman moved to continue this hearing until
February 14, 1990 at 7:30 PM. Seconded by Mr. Viera. So voted.
Isewer Treatment Plaque and Siqns. Mr. Viera read Mr. Willett's
II memo of January 26, 1990 regarding the necessary plaque for
[Facility. Mr. Grossman moved to authorize the DPW Superintendent
i and the Executive Secretary to formulate the wording for an
I economical sign. The Board voted unanimously in favor of the
motion.
IMS. Coombs moved to authorize the DPW superintendent to remove
the entrance signs to the Surfside and siasconset facilities as
la reduction change order. Seconded by Mr. Grossman. So voted.
i II There being no further business before the Board, the Board voted
unanimously at 7:41 PM to adjourn and reopen as the Board of
Selectmen.
