BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of Meeting of 12 August 1992 at 7:30 PM. The meeting took
place in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Building, Nantucket, MA
02554. Members of the Board present were: Wayne Holmes, Nancy
Sevrens, Carl Borchert, Arthur Desrocher and Timothy Madden.
Chairman Holmes called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Announcement/Presentation of Lead Paint Procedures Implementation
by Health Officer Richard Rav. Health Officer Richard Ray gave a
presentation on new state permitting procedues for exterior paint
work. Mr. Ray ended his presentation with the announcement that all
contractors and interested parties are invited to attend a seminar
to be held on Saturday, August 22, 1992 at 8:30 AM at the pines
Restaurant. This seminar will give in-depth details and guidelines
to be followed in the removal and disposal of lead based paint.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
unanimously adjourned at 7:40 PM.
