BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of the Meeting of 15 July 1992 at 7:30 PM. The meeting took
place in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Building, Nantucket,
MA 02554. Members of the Board present were: Wayne Holmes, Nancy
Sevrens, Carl Borchert, Arthur Desrocher and Timothy Madden.
Chairman Holmes called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Approval of Minutes of 3 June 1992 at 7:30 PM. Mr. Desrocher moved
approval; seconded by Mrs. Sevrens. So voted.
variance Reauest for Replacement of Failed Septic Svstem for
Property Located at 15 Columbus Avenue. Madaket. Mr. Desrocher
moved approval of a variance from Board of Health Regulation
50.02(B) for the replacement septic system to be placed in the
twenty foot way of the property as recommended by the Health
Officer; seconded by Mr. Madden. So voted.
variance Reauest for Replacement Septic System for Property Located
at 1 Fawcett Way. Siasconset. Mr. Desrocher moved approval of a
variance from the requirement for a 100% expansion area, with the
provision that upon failure of the proposed system, said failed
system shall be excavated and replaced with clean fill, and that
any new system serving the lot shall be constructed in this area
of clean fill, as recommended by the Health Officer. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Madden. So voted.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
unanimously adjourned at 7:40 PM.
