BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of the Meeting of 10 June 1992 at 7:30 PM. The meeting took
place in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Building, Nantucket,
MA 02554. Members of the Board present were: Wayne Holmes, Nancy
Sevrens, Carl Borchert, Arthur Desrocher and Timothy Madden.
Chairman Holmes called the meeting to order at 9:10 PM, following
a meeting of the Board of Selectmen.
Mrs. Sevrens inquired as to why the Board of Health was taking
place after the Selectmen's meeting. Chairman Holmes replied that
it had been a request by a Board member and adhered to by the
Executive Secretary.

7:30 PM: 4 March 1992 at 7:30 PM. Mr. Desrocher moved approval of
the May 20th minutes; seconded by Mr. Borchert. So voted. Mrs.
Sevrens moved approval of the remaining minutes; seconded by Mr.
Borchert. So voted. Mr. Desrocher and Mr. Madden did not vote.
variance Reauest from Board of Health Madaket Requlations section
50.02 (A) for Replacement of a Failed Well at 7 Ames Avenue. Mr.
Desrocher moved approval, with the provisions that the replacement
well be placed in the western-most corner of the owner's abutting
lot: and the application for well installation be accompanied by
an easement-in-perpetuity document acceptable to the Health
Department and filed with the Registry of Deeds, as recommended by
the Health Officer. The motion was seconded by Mr. Madden. So
voted.
Discussion of Mission Statement for Board of Health Advisorv
Committee. Chairman Holmes stated that he felt this matter requires
additional consideration and review by Board members and asked for
consent to postpone it for one week. The Board agreed to postpone
the matter for one week.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
unanimously adjourned at 9:25 PM.
