BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of the Meeting of 20 May 1992 at 7:30 PM. The meeting took
place in the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Building, Nantucket,
MA 02554. Members of the Board present were: Wayne Holmes, Carl
Borchert, Arthur Desrocher and Timothy Madden. Nancy Sevrens was
absent. Chairman Holmes called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Approval of Minutes of March 4. 1992 at 7:30 PM; March 11. 1992 at
7:30 PM; and April 15. 1992 at 7:30 PM. Mr. Desrocher moved
approval of the minutes of April 15, 1992, with the remaining sets
to be deferred until the next Board of Health meeting; seconded by
Mr. Madden. So voted.
Request for Approval of Tiqht Tank Permit for Propertv Located at
18 Crows Nest WaVe Mrs. Sevrens read a memo from Health Officer
Richard Ray recommending approval of the permit with the following
stipulations: that the tank shall have the capacity to hold 500%
of the average daily flow; that an alarm bell and light shall be
installed that will signal the occupants of the dwelling when the
tank has reached three-fifths capacity; that the tank cover shall
be brought to grade and fitted with a cast iron cover. Mr.
Desrocher moved approval as recommended; seconded by Mr. Madden.
So voted. Mr. Desrocher asked if Mr. Ray had informed the
applicants of his recommendation. Mr. Ray replied that he haq
informed the applicants' representative. I

There being no further business before the Board, the meeting wa~
unanimously adjourned at 7:35 PM.
