Ms. Coombs read the letter from Ms. Charder dated August 31, 1990 requesting this hearing. Heal th Agent Richard Ray stated that he had received a letter from the attorney for the tenants of rental sections of the building alleging sanitary code violations and requesting an inspection. Mr. Ray said he inspected the premises and issued a violation Notice on August 23, 1990 and that to date no repairs have been made. Ms. Charder stated that some of the information on the Notice was incorrect, that no kitchen facility was included, that these were merely two rooms for rent. Ms. Charder stated that damages were made to the premises since the tenants had moved in. Ms. Charder stated that there is currently no one occupying these rooms and her intention is to make reparations before it is rented for next season. Attorney Bert Johnson stated that his clients, the tenants at 121 Orange Street, were under the impression that all work at the premises was to be completed by Memorial Day weekend, however, it was still under construction for much of the summer. Ms. Charder requested that several items be stricken from the Health Agent's Violation Notice which she did not think were applicable. The Board did not agree to do so. After further discussion, Ms. Coombs moved to mandate that all repairs as outlined in the Health Agent's Notice dated August 20, 1990 to the premises, 121 Orange Street, are to be completed prior to leasing the rental sections of the building next season, subject to inspections by the Health Department and the Building Department.
