The meeting was held ~n the Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town & County Building, Nantucket, MA 02554. ~ll members of the Board were present. Chairman Sevrens called the meeting o order at 7:54 PM. requested approval for under construction. r. McLaughlin stated that the zoning bylaw prohibited mobile homes. Ms. Patton I aid the trailer would be returned shortly after October 1, 1989. Health Inspec- or Ray stated that he recommended approval of this request from the point . I f view of the health requirement, subject to certain conditions. Mr. Ray i dded that this was not a tenting grant. Mr. Viera moved approval of the requestl or a 44' by 12' mobile home to be used as temporary housing with the conditions ) that the dwelling is actively under construction during the time the temporary ousing is located on the lot; 2) that the temporary dwelling must be connected o the existing well and septic system; and 3) that the temporary dwelling ust be vacated by October 1, 1989. Mr. Ramos seconded the motion. So voted. lthough entering into the discussion, Mr. Ramos abstained from voting on the ext agenda item. ontract Amendment for Additional Services for Sewer Treatment Plant Desi n nd Redesi n: Mr. Viera read a memo from Sewer Project Advisory Committee hairman Lee Bourgoin explaining the design modifications and the reduction rom $132,237 to $75,000 of the amendment. Ms. Coombs moved approval of the reparation of the amendment for the settlement amount of $75,000. Seconded y Mr. McLaughlin. So voted. ewer Connection Polic Mr. Viera moved to recommend that Sewer Project Advisor orman Lanman and DPW Superintendent Jeff Willett investigate the Town's sewer ischarge policy with regard to compliance with state regulations with action n permits deferred until this investigation is completed. Mr. Ramos seconded he motion. So voted. Mr. Richard Glidden asked if the Town would soon hear rom the state regarding sewer hook-ups. Mr. Willett stated that he had recently et with state representatives and thought perhaps a response would come within wo weeks. Town Counsel DeRensis stated the situation is under investigation nd that Mr. Willett was deferring action on the state sewer permits until response comes from the state. Mr. Glidden urged the Board to obtain an nswer from the state as soon as possible. Mr. Bourgoin stated that it was ossible for Mr. Glidden to go directly to the state for state permits without r.
