Mr. Ray brought before the Board a proposed 100 foot Sewer Septic Health regul- ation to be approved and adopted, this regulation dealt with sewers being placed as far back as possible and the house will be limited to three bedrooms. Mr. Ra mentioned that there was a per ulation test done geared toward the maximum "wet time" of the year but the perrenial rainfall proved that there was no one time of year that was the wettest. It was decided that the sewer must be placed 5 feet below the perculation line at the wettest point. The sewer permit expir- ation time has been changed from two years to one because the island ecology (geography) changes so drastically. Larger systems must be installed now due to heavier sewage flow from an increase in the number of bedrooms. Mr. McLaugh- lin inquired as to whether a Public Hearing was necessary to pass said regulatio Mr. Ray replied no, and that all was in accordance with the General Laws of the Comnonwealth of Massachuset ts . Mr. Gardner moved approval of said regulation; seconded by Mr. Clute. So voted.
