MINUTES OF JULY 22, 1987 MEEI'IN:i
Chairman Cabot called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All members were present.
Mrs. Sevrens moved approval of the minutes of July 1, 1987. Seconded by i'1r.
Clute. So voted.
Pursuant to MGL Chapter 111 ~ 150 A, the Board held a Public Hearing prior to
assignment of a site for the disposal and processing of solid waste.
Peter Boynton, Chairman of the Long Range Solid Waste Disposal Committee, state
that the site could be used for composting, source segregation, and recycling.
Mr. Bergendahl infonned the Board that the Hearing was a fonml process
by the DEQE and in-forming the Public was a formality.
Mr. Clute moved approval of the site assignment for the disposal and processing
of solid waste to be within the confines of the Madaket Landfill. Seconded by
Gardner. So voted.
Health Inspector Richard Ray infonned the Board that the newest test results we
in and the Public beaches are all clean.
With no further business before the Board,
at 7:42 p.m.
