IInspector of Health Richard Ray issued a warning to all commer- 'cial scallopers as concerns licensed scallop shanties. He stated that the penalty for violations are as follows: 1st Offense: $200.00 fine 2nd Offense: Surrender license for 7 days, and a fine not to exceed $200.00. 3rd Offense: loss of license for 365 days, and a fine not to exceed $200.00. Every day the licensee remains in violation of the regulation shall be treated as a separate offense. Ray stated that as of June 1,1987 any restaurant ~th a seating more or is deemed to be a heav rease roducer interceptors installed be~een the establish- ent's drains and the Town sewer. ~ny establishment found in I iolation of this regulation will not be allowed to open until 'it has conformed with said regulation. Restaurants with a seating apacity of less than 25, shall be subject to inspection at the , iscretion of the Superintendent of the DPW and/or the Health ~nspector.
