BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of August 13, 1986 Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 7:31 p.m. by Chairman Cabot: all members were
present, excepting Mr. Clute and Mr. Gardner. As there were no minutes prepared
from the previous meeting, approval was waived.
In a letter to the Board, Inspector of Health Richard Ray recommended the grant-l
in of a variance from the Madaket re ualtion for the emergency re-location i
of a well, as requested by Mr. Carl Gewirz, Chicago Avenue. A variance had pre-i
viously been granted by the Board however the approved location proved insuffic-:
ient for the well. An alternate plan for the digging and placement of the well
was submitted by Nantucket Surveyors. Mr. Grossman moved to uphold Mr. Ray's
recommendatio~ seconded by Mrs. Sevrens: so voted.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at
7:34 p.m.
