Because the minutes from the October 30, 1985 meeting were unavailable, approval of said minutes was tabled until the next meeting. Richard Ray, Inspector of Health, appeared before the Board for "public rela- I tions" purposes, to provide information to all food service establishments con-! cerning the new Article X. Mr. Ray wished to publicly remind those establish- I ments which will be open through January, that they must be inspected prior to January 1, 1986. Mr. Ray stated that, although the state has continually advised the establishments, through the mail, of regulation changes, copies of the new Article X can be obtained through the Health Department, located in the' Town Annex Building, for a minimal fee. Mr. Rogers Cabot read a letter dated December 4, 1985, from Mr. Ray in refer- ence to the complaint concerning the Piggery located on Eel Point Road. The letter outlined a variety of Massachusetts General Laws, and Nantucket Zoning Laws, 'which pertain to this type of complaint. However, his conclusion, based 'Ion the complaint, the noted Laws, and his inspections, is that the Piggery is in comliance with all applicable codes and laws, and therefore, no public I hearing would be required, in Mr. Ray's opinion. II II 'I II I, II I' I Ii 'i Mr. Ron Bamber who had voice the complaint about the piggery, noted that he had! spoken with state Health Representative Mr. Wayne Holmes, who had advised Mr. Bamber that a public hearing would be required concerning this matter.
