BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of September 11, 1985 Meeting
The Board of Health's meeting corrmenced at 7:32 p.m. All members were in
attendance. The Minutes of the August 28, 1985 meeting were accepted and
typed and reading of the same was waived on a notion from Skip Carot, seconded
by Bud Clute, so voted.
lMoped Related Injury Report: Nantucket Cottage Hospital: Hospital Administra-
,tor, Mark Ellsworth, Dr. Tirrothy Lepore presented hospital statistics over the
Ilpast two sumners concerning noped related accidents. Dr. Lepore reported 103
I!noped accidents in 1985 and stated that the injuries were nore severe than in
Ithe past. The Board asked that the Hospital staff look over the suggested
!noped rules and regulations and give the Board their suggestions at next week's
ImeetiIB .

Iji'IWo-lot Subdivision off Quidnet Road: Health Inspector, Richard Ray, recorrmend-
I ed to the Board approval of a two-lot subdivision off Quidnet Road. Following
I,plot plan reviev.r and site inspection, Mr. Ray recorrmended that: 1) Both lots
j1are acceptable for septic system design, 2) Lot 2 septic plan system placement
lis limited by peat noss and unsuitable soil conditions on the northeast corner
Ilof the lot and, 3) Both lots should be reperced when nore definite dwelling
[locations are selected. Skip Carot noved to accept Mr. Ray's recorrmendations,
Iseconded by Bud Clute, so voted.

1111.Being no further business before the Board of Health, Bud Clute rroved to adjourn
lat 7: 51 p.m., seconded by Bernie Grossman, so voted.
