HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-06-26 II BOARD OF HEALTH Minutes of June 26, 1985 Meeting I The Board of Health's meeting conmenced at 7 :40 p.m. following a County I Corrmissioner's Meeting. All members VJere present. Minutes of June 19, 1985 I were accepted as typed and reading of the same was waived on a rrotion from Bud Clute, seconded by Skip Cabot, so voted. Sulx:1ivision Plans: At last VJeek' s meeting the Board of Health referred the following sulx:1i vision plans back to Richard Ray for further review. Mr. Ray was in attendance. 26 lDt Sulx:1ivision off Milestone Road: Robert Coffin - Selectmen Bernie Grossman rroved to approved the Health Inspector t s recorrmendation, seconded by Bud Clute. 14 lDt Sulx:1ivision off Hinsdale Road: Arnold Teasdale - Ibn Oliver, DPW Superintendent, commented that there could be no hook-ins to the Macy lane sewer line. Bernie Grossman rroved to table the vote until more infornation about the sewer line was available, seconded by Nancy Sevrens, so voted. Francis Street Beach: Health Inspector, Richard Ray, was in attendance requesting that the Francis Street Beach be closed due to high coliform levels in the water. Mr. Ray will conduct a dye testing of the creeks and the buildings in the area to determine if sewerage is being dumped in the I Francis Street Beach area. Bernie Grossman rroved to close the beach until I' further notice, seconded by Skip Cabot, so voted. Mrs. Crapsey was in attendance and mentioned concern of the 'Sconset sewerage system. Nancy Sevrens expressed thanks to Richard Ray for the high restaurant health standards.
