HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-05-08 II BOARD OF h t ftt- TI1 Minutes of May 8, 1985 Meeting The Board of Health Meeting ccmnenced at 7:35 p.m. after a brief meeting as County Corrrnissioners. All members vvere present. Minutes of April 17, 1985 were accepted as typed and reading of the same i was waived on a rrotion from Skip Catot, seconded by Bernard Grossman, so voted. Proposed Sub-division Plan: 2 lots: Weweeder Avenue: Ron Heurlin: letter from the Health Insepctor, Richard L. Ray noting that following an on-site inspection and plot plan review, the following observations should be accepted by the Board: 1. both lots are acceptable for septic system design. 2. perculation tests shall be repeated when definitive septic system locations are selected. Skip Catot rroved to approve as recorrmended, seconded by Bernard Grossman, so voted. Request fran James Mizour of Habitat Inc.: for approval to house a night watchman in a small trailer located on the property directly behind Egan Brothers t3as station, Mr. Ray reconmended to the Board that approval for such temporary housing should include the following stipulations: II I I 1. connected to a vvell or town water 2. connected to Town sewer 3. habi tated by no rrore than one individual. Mr. Ray also recorrmended that tenporary housing be allowed for a total of 60 days corrmencing on the date of granting of same. Should additional time be required, a new application would need to be sul:roitted to the Board. I I II I ! , i I, Bud Clute rroved to deny request to live in the trailer since it was not for the owners of the property. Mr. Clute said that past practice has allowed people to live in trailers only when someone is constructing their house on the property. The Board agreed that this situation did not warrant living on the premises. Skip Catot seconded the rrotion and rroved to send the Building Inspector a letter to see to it the trailer is rerroved at once, seconded by Bernard Grossman, so voted.
