The Eoard of Health meeting carmencecl after a brief rreeting as County
Camnissioners at 7:45 p.m. ].',11 mEmbers were present. !1inutes of the
June 20, 1984 meeting were accepted as typed, and reading of the same was
waived on a motion fran Selectman Cabot, seconded by Selectman Clute, ro voted.
l-ater Quality Testing at Public Eeacms: 'I're !bard received a report fran
Health Inspector Richard L. p,ay on the vater quality test trot W3.S done
Monday, June 26, 1984 at various beaches. He said W:l.shington Street Peach
W3.ter quality lad improved significantly and \~s acceptable for swimning,
however Children's Peach had experienced a significant amount of colifom
bacteria and is presently closed to sw:irrming per order of this officer.
Mr. Ray explained tmt they v;ere still doings tests to detemine tre cause.
They had tested t:te new drainage systEm at Lilly Pond O..1t the line was
still blocked ro no drainage ,vas caning fran there. ~ said it could be

the Beach until testing improve s. Hr. Ray said he had received a lot o='
cooperation fram tte DP~v and fran tlE Sewer Project Supenriror who would
continue to v.ork with him.
