Clute, Selectman Rogers W. CaJ:nt, Selectman Nancy E'evrens. Meml:er al:sent: Charles J. Gardner. Proposal Regulat:ions for Boats Used as Residences: Health Inspector Richrrd L. Ray vas present to explain ttat in conjunction with Marine S1perintendent George Rezendes, a regulat:ion for adoption ~ the Ibard of Health, under MGL Chapter Ill, Sect:ion 31, has been formulated to limit the areas where vater-bourne residences may 1::e located. The proposal vas read and Mr. GrOSEm311 added t.w:) phrases to read: . \\,"~' I p.\pJ "No person shall use as a residence any 'roa:i., vessel, raft, float or other water-lourne conveyance in Nantucket Harlo~or Madaket HarJ:nr, or any creek or estuary thereof without a Permit fran the Ibard of Health or its agent certifying as to the adequacy of its sanitary facilities. Any Perron violating this regulation shall l:e punislEd by a fine of not more than tID hmdred dollars ($200) for each offense and each day that such violation continues shall l:e considered as a separate offense." E'electman Cabot moved to accept recamnended proposal with cffinges, seconded by Selectman Nancy Sevrens, ro voted. Request for Vehicular Sale of Faked Goods: Mattrew Fee: A letter ,..us read fran Mattrew Fee requesting permiffiion to place a cart with :fresll1y baked goods locally produced at the foot of Main Street in front of the Pacific Club or alongside the vegetable and fish carts:by t:l1e Il1b. He would like the business open six days a 'W8ek, frcm 9: 00 a.m. to 1: 00 p.m. He added tffit due to construction of the Steamloat Wharf business at his bakery ffid slacked off. It IDuld alro l:enefit tre parking situation in that area. Mr. Fee vas at tre meeting to say he would be providing a service to tre TCMIl. He loped the Ibard w:>uld act favorably on his request. Mr. Cabot mid he spoke with Mr. Fee today. He tad problems with the parking and limiting rosiness to just Mr. Pee. If tre !bard allowed one cart to park they might open up a can of w:>nus. Mrs. Sevrens said she could not vote in favor of Mr. Fee's request. She knelT of too many other bakerie s, one in particular 'Who jus t moved out of TOtJrl and w:>uld probably vant to do the g::nne thing. Mr. Clute said te was not in favor of push carts on r--1ain Street. Mr. Grossnan tten addressed Mat Fee and saidther.e~is a feeling of the Board and aske::l if re wanted thEm to vote on tre request. Mr. Fee said no, that re would witlrlraw :bis request at this time and thanked tre Ibard for treir considerat:ion. The Board ro noted tffit Mr. Fee witlrlrew his applicat :ion.
