Dumping of Scallop Shells: Health Inspector Richard L. Ray subnitted a letter to the Board of Health regardi..'1g the MGL Chapter 111 sulEection 31 Pertaining to the dumping of slucked ocallop shells at -the designated Jetties Peach dumping area. At its Octo1:Er 26, 1983 meeting, tre Poard of Health voted to issue a notice tffit no garl:.age or refuse l:e deJXlsited with shucked sr..allop shells at Jetties Peach. I' II Ii I I 1. 0 Only sluckErl scallop shells with or without entrails nay re dumpErl at the designated Jetties Peach dumping area. 2.0 All shells shall re deJXlsited as close as JXlssible to the center of the p3.rking lot at its northermost end. 3.0 Any individual determined to l:e dumping garl:.age or refuse other than scallop shells srell l:e l:rought l:efore the local Poard of Health. 3.1 Any individual found ill violation of these Regulations shall re, on the first offense, fillErl fifty dollars. 3.2 A second violation of these Regulations shall l:e punishable ~ a fille not to exceed one hundrErl and fifty dollars and suspension of the privilege to use the Jetties Beach shell di SJXl 53.1 ar Eft.
