BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of May 4, 1983 Meeting
The meeting of the Board of Health commenced at 7 :30 p.m. All members were
present. Minutes of April 27, 1983 meeting were approved, and reading of
the same was waived by rrotion of Skip Cabot, seconded by Jack Gardner, so voted.
Subdivision Approval: One Lot, Comer of Oakland and North Carolina Streets,
Madaket; Lindsey Perry, CMner:
letter from the Health Inspector, Richard L. Ray, finding the subdivision
acceptable for septic system design with two stipulations. 1. Care must be
exercised in septic placement with respect to White Goose Cove. Possible
applicability to the Wetlands Regulations must be observed. 2. Possible
applicability of septic system breakout ratios must also be observed due to
property contours.
Mr. Clute asked Mr. Pay where the system will go. Mr. Ray said it would be
on the north side of ltVhi te Goose Cove. He explained that it nON goes before
the Planning Board and probably the Conservation Comnission.
Skip Cabot rroved to accept recorrmendation from the Health Inspector, seconded
by Bud Clute, so voted.
Skip Cabot rroved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Bud Clute, so voted.
Meeting adjourned at 7: 34 p.m.
