Minutes of March 16, 1983 Meeting
The Board of Health meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. AI1Jmembers were present.
Minutes of the March 4, 1983 meeting were accepted as typed, and reading
of the same was waived on motion from Bernard Grossman, seconded by
Harry E. Clute, so voted. Minutes of March 11, 1983 Special Meeting Minutes
were accepted as typed, and reading of the same was waived on motion from
Bernard Grossman, seconded by Rogers Cabot, so voted.
Variance Request: Bruce Poor, Quidnet, Abutting Pond: Letter from Health
Inspector, Richard Ray, recommending that a variance be granted from CMR
310 (Title V) subsection 15.03 (7) distances, for an existing two bedroom
dwelling with an existing failed system. Ten feet are required from
leach facility to the property line, but only one foot is available. Twenty
feet are required from the leach facility to the dwelling foundations,
and only twelve feet are available. Both Richard Ray and the DEQE find that
the proposed location will be an improvement .from the failed system.
Bud Clute moved to accept variance request of Bruce Poor, Quidnet, seconded
by Jack Gardner, so voted.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45: p.m. on motion of Bernard Grossman, seconded by
Jack Gardner, so voted.
