The Ibard of Health meeting corrmenced at 7:35 p.m. after a brief meeting
as County Camnissioners. All menrers v..ere present. Hinutes of
the Felruary 15, 1984 meet:in;r 'Were accepted as typed and rooding of the
same vas vaived on a motion fran Skip Cal:ot, seconded by Jack Gardner,
so voted.

requesting permission to sell canned soft drinks and prepackaged snacks
fran a ffilall utility trailer at the ~.1adaket Public Peach. Itrs. Kendall
sa.id she w:>uld supply trash cans for the area and clmn-up crew. She
vas looking for a snall b.1siness rer children could run in tre sumner time.
r-tr. Grossnan sa.id it srould be treated as a rental privelege. stould be
a public service, supply umlrellas, chairs, etc. W:mld certainly like
to favor locals if possible, b.1t felt it slDuld be put out to bid.
Bernard Grossnan moved to advertire for bids for a one year lease just
like surfside (to be local if possible), seconded by Jack Gardner, so voted.
Jack Gardner moved to table a decision on rtrs. Kendall's request at t:bis
time.
Josh Motta, 95 Pilgrim Road, \.\lellesley, requested pemission to operate
a push carttype vehicle for the sa.le of yogurt wherever the Eoard might
designate. His letter included a picture of tre vehicle re planned to
purcmse. Jack Gardner tlDught the vehicle w:>uld be suitable if it
remained out of tre core district. \\8.1ter Knott, cminnan of the Traffic
Safety Camnittee sa.id it w:>uld cause traffic problems. There are alroody
too rrany cars on Nantucket (10,000 registered yoor-round). Mr. r:abot vas
not impresred with tre vehicle itrelf. Eernard Grossnan moved to deny,
seconded by Skip Cabot, so voted. Bud Clute denied. Jack Gardner opposed
to motion.
