PUBLIC HEARING
As advertised, two sets of regulations are proposed by Health Inspector Richard
Ray for Toilet Facilities in restaurants for 25 or more persons that are not
I
regulated by the MGL Chapter 138 concerning alcoholic beverages. These regulatio~s,
as requested by the Board of Health several weeks ago, are for two categories: .
one, retroactive to include exisiting establishments- the other a grandfather
clause exempting establishments now in operation. Copies of the proposed regula-!
tions had been sent to all those existing establishments that could be affected.!
Health Inspector Richard Ray addressed the meeting and stated two changes to be
made in the printed forms for both proposals: the first being that the word
"served" in the seventh line of Section "A" be deleted; the second being that
he has been made aware that the original proposals listed a table for toilet
fixtures (Section "I") that is outdated. He has a new, and revised table from
"Rules and Regulations" of the Plumbing Code that is to be inserted as follows:
Occupancy Load
Min. No. Water Closets
Min. No. Lavatories
