All members were present. The Minutes of the Meeting of October 7, 1981 were accepted as typed. I 5-10t Subdivision, Off Sankaty Avenue, Francis T. Dysen: Report received and read from Richard L. Ray, Health Inspector, stating the following: lots 2, 3, and 4 should be connected to the available Sankaty Avenue sewer line; lift pumps be used to connect to said sewer line; and lots 1 and 5 have existing structures with in-ground septic systems. Jack Gardner motioned to approve the report of the Health Inspector. Secon- ded by Roger Young. So voted. II 7-10t Subdivision, Quail Lane, Anne Cawley Associates: Report received and read from Health Inspector Richard L. Ray stating the following: lot 17 has an existing structure on it and was not perked; lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 are acceptable for septic system design without restrictions. Jack Gardner stated that he believed there was an existing sewer down there. Don Oliver stated that Dick Garnett (a resident of Quail Lane) is connected to a sewer system. Jack Gardner stated that perhaps the sewer system Mr. Garnett is hooked up to can't reach the property stated in this report. He then checked the plot plan, and came to the conlusion that this was not the Quail Lane they thought it was. This Quail Lane is off Marble Way, the one the referring to is off Sewer Bed Road. Jack Gardner motioned to approve the report of the Health Officer and send a letter to the Planning Board informing them of the fact that there are two Quail Lanes and that that situation should be remedied. Seconded by Don Oliver. So voted. III Meadow Lane Subdivision: Letter received and read from the Nantucket Plan- ning Board Chairman Don Visco stating that at their meeting of October 13, 1981, they discussed the matter concerning appropriate wastewater facilities for the subdivision on Meadow Lane owned by Bamber/Sjolund and reached a tentative agree- ment with the applicant which seems to satisfy the wishes of all parties. The applicant and the Board are agreeable to have four individual 2 inch pressure mains be installed as a condition for approval to service lots 2 through 5 which will connect to an existing manhole on Meadow Lane. Ejector pumps will then have to be installed by the individual homeowners at the time of construction. The Planning Board advised the Board of Health to amend its decision regarding sew- age facilities in this area and to permit the installation of the four indivi- dual pressure mains as the most logical and reasonable solution to this problem. Jack Gardner motioned to table this for one week for the Health Officer's review and recommendations. Seconded by Don Oliver. So voted. There being no further business, the meeting of the Board of Health was adjourned at 7:52 p.m. BOARD OF HEALTH d~4 ~UrJ~, Kenneth W. Holdgate{'~ Chairman
